Entry Requirements
1. General Requirements
(1) Applicants must be 18 to 25 years old (inclusive), in good health, and have graduated from high school.
(2) All applicants must provide a valid CSCA score report. Please refer to the program catalog for the specific test subjects required by each major download here.
2. Language Proficiency Requirements
For English-Taught Programs, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
1) Native English Speaker or English as official language, 2) IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 60, 3) Completion of a high school curriculum where the medium of instruction was English, 4) Other English Language Competence are accepted by our university.
3. Nationality Requirements (In accordance with MOE Document [2020] No.12)
(1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport.
(2) Former residents of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan who have emigrated and apply as international students must have obtained their foreign citizenship by April 30, 2022. Additionally, they must provide proof of actual residence abroad for at least two years between April 30, 2022, and April 30, 2026 (A period of 9 months of actual residence in a year counts as one full year, as evidenced by entry and exit stamps).
(3) Applicants who acquired a foreign nationality at birth, and whose parents were both Chinese citizens, or one parent was a Chinese citizen at the time of birth, must meet the following:
The Chinese parent(s) must have obtained permanent residency in a foreign country before the applicant's birth. The applicant must provide proof of actual residence abroad for at least two years between April 30, 2022, and April 30, 2026 (A period of 9 months of actual residence in a year counts as one full year, as evidenced by entry and exit stamps).
Note: If an applicant's Chinese nationality is confirmed by the Exit-Entry Administration of the Chinese public security authorities during the application, admission, or enrollment process, their application eligibility, admission offer, enrollment qualification, or student status will be revoked.

I have always shown willingness and keen interest in Electrical Engineering and Automation. Along with that, academic skills have been an important consideration to me and I have a good understanding of them. I am interested in Electrical Engineering studies because one has a greater chance to explore a variety of subjects. Also it will polish my academic skills and will provide me opportunity to develop skills in the area of Science and Technology that can be applied in many different situations. 1. Educational Objectives

The students graduated from this major will understand contemporary Chinese social, economic and cultural development, be able to participate and promote the cooperation in related fields between China and his/her own country. They will also be professional for the electrical engineering and control engineering for information collection, sharing, processing and application. They will be well equipped with the practical abilities to design various electrical and control systems. After returning to their own countries, they can work in electrical and control technology industries, research institutes, universities, and other related communities in research, design, integration and engineering areas.
2. Graduation Requirements

Students are expected to gain the following abilities:
